Sometimes, you get exciting news when you least expect it.
My song The Pressure was played during halftime at the Portland Trail Blazers game last night, thanks to the NBA team's Director of Game Operations Todd Bosma. He tweeted this yesterday morning:
It was a great way to start the week for sure! :)
Due to popular demand, I uploaded the full Björk cover I performed with special guest Coco Columbia at my EP release and Tender Loving Empire's compilation release! This video was shot a couple of months ago when we were rehearsing.
Hope you enjoy, and don't forget to subscribe to my Youtube Channel if you want to know when I release new videos!
I had a great time performing at local record label Tender Loving Empire's compilation release show last Thursday! The TLE staff is amazing and it was fun sharing the stage with 5 fantastic local acts.
I played a brand new challenging song for the first time, you can check out a short video from the performance HERE. The full version of the song will be featured in an upcoming episode of PDX Spotlight featuring GLASYS and The Secret Sea!
I was also lucky to have the amazing Coco Columbia join me on stage to perform our Björk cover for the second time. Check out some photos:

My EP was reviewed in the November issue of Positively Entertainment, check it out HERE (it's on page 5).
"Very unique music that seems to have taken the best elements of differing musical styles to create songs brilliantly written and performed. To put it in simple terms, the music is inspiring."
I'm really excited to be included in the lineup for Tender Loving Empire's upcoming compilation (Friends & Friends of Friends Volume 9) release show with some great local acts (Cat Hoch, Astro Tan, No Aloha, Slow Corpse and Mo Troper) this Thursday at Holocene!
The compilation itself features tracks from 39 local Portland acts (including my single The Pressure), and all sales at the show will go towards the non-profit crisis line Call To Safety.
Tour Worthy recommended the show and wrote an awesome little writeup about me, click the image for the full article:

It's been a week since my EP release show, and even though I wrote about the experience on social media I didn't get the chance to share it on my website until now. So here goes:
The show was incredibly fun and I couldn't have asked for a better turnout or a more supportive crowd! I'm really grateful for everyone who came out and packed the place.
The other two acts who performed, Rare Diagram and Coco Columbia both played killer sets and it was a real pleasure to share the stage with them. Coco joined me on stage for a Björk cover and her band's incredible drummer Micah Hummel played a couple of tunes with me too, it so much fun collaborating with these guys!

These shows are very different from each other, yet both were extremely enjoyable in their own ways and I'm so glad I got to be on both! I'm really loving the local Portland music scene.
